- Ocean freight shipping (container and RoRo)
- Export documentation and customs clearance assistance
- Vehicle pickup from auctions, dealers, and private sellers
- Related logistics and coordination services
We act as a transportation intermediary and may use third-party carriers and service providers to fulfill shipments.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided are estimates based on information available at the time. Final pricing is confirmed before shipping begins and may vary based on:
- Actual vehicle dimensions and weight
- Pickup location accessibility
- Fuel surcharges and carrier rates
- Additional services requested
3.2 Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required to confirm booking
- Full payment is due before vessel departure
- Accepted payment methods: wire transfer, ACH, credit card
- Late payments may result in storage fees and shipping delays
3.3 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations before pickup: Full refund minus administrative fee
- Cancellations after pickup: Refund minus actual costs incurred
- Cancellations after vessel booking: No refund for ocean freight
4. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle
- Ensure you have legal ownership or authority to ship the vehicle
- Provide required documentation (title, bill of sale, ID)
- Ensure the vehicle is available for pickup at the scheduled time
- Remove all personal belongings (unless container shipping with approval)
- Inform us of any vehicle conditions that may affect transport
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Vehicle Condition
5.1 Inspection
We document vehicle condition at pickup. You acknowledge that:
- Pre-existing damage will be noted in the inspection report
- Minor cosmetic changes may occur during transport
- We are not responsible for pre-existing mechanical issues
5.2 Prohibited Items
Vehicles must not contain:
- Hazardous materials or explosives
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Firearms or weapons (without proper permits)
- Perishable goods
- High-value items (jewelry, cash, etc.)
5.3 Fuel Level
Vehicles should have minimal fuel (1/8 tank or less) for safety during ocean transport.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 Limited Liability
Our liability is limited to:
- Inland transport: As per carrier's terms and conditions
- Ocean freight: Per applicable maritime conventions (typically $500 per unit unless declared)
6.2 Optional Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing marine cargo insurance for full vehicle value protection. Insurance is available through our partners at additional cost.
6.3 Claims
- Damage must be noted at delivery before signing release
- Claims must be filed within 30 days of delivery
- Documentation (photos, inspection reports) required for claims
6.4 Exclusions
We are not liable for:
- Delays due to weather, port congestion, or force majeure
- Customs holds or inspections at destination
- Pre-existing vehicle conditions
- Personal items left in vehicles
- Indirect, consequential, or special damages
7. Documentation and Compliance
You warrant that:
- All documents provided are genuine and accurate
- You have legal authority to export the vehicle
- The vehicle is not subject to any liens, holds, or legal restrictions
- Export complies with US laws and destination country requirements
We are not responsible for import requirements, duties, or taxes at destination.
8. Delivery and Storage
8.1 Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays beyond our control.
8.2 Unclaimed Vehicles
Vehicles not claimed at destination port within free storage period will incur:
- Daily storage fees
- Demurrage charges
- Potential abandonment proceedings after 90 days
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHIP N DRIVE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ship N Drive, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your infringement of any third-party rights
- Inaccurate information you provide
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be:

- Subject to binding arbitration under AAA rules if negotiation fails
- Governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA
- Subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida
